A BIG thanks to Jarryd Doran and the LGI (landfill gas industries) team for providing QGA members a tour of the biogas to energy plant at Willawong QLD. Members were provided with lots of valuable information and had a great morning overall. 

Founded in 2009, LGI is a Brisbane based Australian owned Biogas specialist. They offer an extensive range of services including design, construction, operation, maintenance and monitoring of biogas extraction from landfill systems. LGI even drill biogas extraction wells and manufacture Type B compliant flares. They also build, own and operate biogas to renewable power stations. They have successfully generated 70GWh of renewable energy from their 7 biogas fuelled power stations.
